This video was filmed at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2025 where the vehicle and the staff with it were in high demand. I've done the best I could with the limited time and information I was granted at the time.
The Dethleffs e.home Eco is a prototype motorhome on an electric Ford Transit chassis, whereby Dethleffs is exploring more sustainable and lower carbon ways to build a new motorhome. The advantages of more natural materials such as wool and oak include a substantial reduction in harmful off-gassing and hopefully less irritating to those with severe allergy problems. However, these natural materials do come with a disadvantage which we visit in the video.
As a prototype motorhome, the ehome Eco is not available to buy.
