The Low Poly FPS Game Kit is now available on the Unity assetstore, this is the first version 1.0 : assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/low-poly-fps-game-kit-176406
It contains over 70 low poly meshes and prefabs, an FPS player controller and 3 weapons with animations that can be switched, all components can be used out of the box.
The next version is in planning state, here you can see the trello board:
