The DFS2 set point can be easily set as low as 34°F or 1°C using the visual set point indicator which can be locked to protect against unauthorized changes. The vapor-filled copper capillary sensing element detects when the temperature drops below the fixed safety value, providing reliable antifreeze protection. The sensing element is offered in lengths of 10 or 20 feet and has a spring protector at the capillary-bellow connection to prevent kinking and damage to the sensing element.
