I've been meaning to redo this song for about 5 years now, but I wanted to redo it with a proper instrumental instead of a low quality vocal remove track. I was hoping over the years someone would release a backing track for it, but it just never happened to my knowledge. I've come a long way as a recording artist since then though, and have acquired the skills and means to create my own adequette backing tracks when the occasion calls for it. I realized this was such an occasion and decided to have a go at making an instrumental for Lovers. It's not perfect, nor is it professional quality, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Ive also had loads and loads of people ask for the backing track to my original cover over the years, but I lost my files from back then and at the time, I didn't know how to create a vocal remove track (someone else had made it for me). I told many people that if I ever came across a new one, I'd share it. I fully intended to do that with this one, but have run into a few complications along the way that I'm trying to sort through before posting my instrumental. If and when it gets sorted, I will post a link to my instrumental here in the description. In the mean time, now that I have the know-how to create vocal remove tracks, I've recreated the track I used in my original cover. It's not the best quality but it is what I used for my original cover which is what people had been asking for:
