To distribute your game for Linux, currently the best way is to share the .love file and make clear which version of Love2D it was developed with.
To make a love file, simply create a zip file of the project files.
Ideally include a conf.lua file that tells which Love2D version it was made for.
It is possible to fuse the game into a Linux binary, but the result is only guaranteed to run on your system in its current state.
Check the video description. I will update it once there is a solution. Currently there is only a feature request on Love2D's bug tracker: bitbucket.org/rude/love/issues/1168/provide-stand-alone-love2d-linux-binaries
See you in the next video! Have fun making games.
