1. I separate my sewing days and my cutting days. I try not to do both on the same day.
2. I batch cut. I’m always cutting more than one project at a time, and that leaves more time on my sewing days for the fun stuff.
3. I try to approach my cutting sessions with intention. I consider it a low-key, easy day of sewing. I put on music or an audiobook, and chill and do something more mechanical.
