I wasn't really into this one until I had to play it a thousand times to succesfully get a Perfect, and when I realized I was all about it. Don't get me wrong, i-it's not like I'm crazy into it either, but it's a good game nonethless and it really grew on me, that's fo'sho.

Now you can see in glorious HD how messed up is the rhythm of this song when it goes offbeat c: . Poor stepswitcher over here is getting seizures for 30 mins (?).
What can I say about Lockstep that others and myself havent said already before? Really great minigame, and one of the best in the series in concept alone. Its possibly one of the most effective ways to teach someone about offbeats. Lockstep is like riding a bike, once you truly understand how it works its really awesome, you can just enjoy it mindlessly and have fun...unless its Lockstep Lockdown. Then its like riding a bike with a pushpin on the seat.

Tonda gossa! Today marks the 15th anniversary of MOTHER 3, one hell of a videogame and also quite the emotional ride, I think it will always remind my favorite. To this day I still replay it occasionally and manage to find new cool things, and the rhythm fighting system just feels sooo good, I almost never avoid fights because I love pulling those 16 combos -fug Serious/Fate tho-. Really recommend the game to anyone who hasnt given it a try (and if you did, I recommend it too lol).
This song in particular (which was also used for Earthbound 64s trailer, so it seemed fitting for the anniversary of the actual release :P) is also known as King Ps Theme and...yeah, I kinda like that name more but this is the official name (at least on the CD).

Long time pending request, sorry pal. This version of Treasure Trove Cove isnt half bad honestly, I dig it and it has that DKC feel to it, but considering the final version is my favorite track of the game (and dat Smash remix by Shimomura) I cant help by being glad this wasnt the definitive one. With that said, I feel like this theme wouldve been great too, just for another stage.
