You can probably tell from my previous vents, that I was in love with someone who didn't like me back. It made me fear the worst about myself. I felt unworthy of anyone's affection. That person I love is my best friend, and I had told her. I've been hopelessly unable to move on after being rejected multiple times, my head just didn't want to take it in. But finally, I can take her advice and love something more. There's so much more to life than relationships. I have my crazy but sweet cat, there's possible new friends, I have my mom and other family, our old dog that we can visit sometimes. And I have a future, my personal dream as author and maybe zoo worker. My friend, she can still be in the picture, but just as a friend now. A good friend who never abandoned me, despite seeing the worst of me. A friend like that is just as valuable.

Happy Halloween month!
Aries grows more and more restless as Eira distances herself from the Silverteeth. Why does she prefer Casey? Hes exiled, born of a cursed family!
Ironically, Aries doesnt realize hes too a part of that family, and therefore he too should be considered cursed. The rest of the pack doesnt see it that way either. Only Casey and his mother are blamed. Eira ponders on why Casey must face the consequences of his uncles mistakes, and nobody else.

Eira runs wild and free, traveling across the icy lake of Heartborn, as her raven friend soars above. The rush of cold wind hitting her face, the warmth inside her bones from the strain, gave her the sense of freedom shes always wished for. Shes home, but not bound.

The rest of the flock sobbed and snarled curses towards the destroyed nesting ground.
This is impossible... Vita mumbled, his sore eyes scanning the area. Fires like that dont happen without magic here. One of our kind set these nests ablaze.
I havent drawn fire digitally in a long while. I still feel like I kinda suck at it, but itll do for now. At least Mortems looking pretty good! Dragons are not my strongest area of drawing, but Im getting better. Have never drawn a good front view of a dragon head with mouth open before. Extra fact, Caleb Hyles is my headcanon voice for Mortem.

I lost the project last year or two years ago after my phone broke and I got a new one, so this is the only thing left of it. I found it after looking through old photos and videos. I had come much farther than seen in this version, it was almost done. Maybe Ill make a new one, some day.

Ive been working on this for a while. Took me a while but I didnt want to give up. I am new to drawing people, hair, and coloring skin, so excuse the many references appearing. They belong to their rightful owners (only one is mine - the traditional art piece with the red-head hugging his own hoodie). I tried to work my own style into it, and the established hair styles from earlier drawings of these characters.

Anyways - these characters are Cole Dire, the red-head, and Ren Hawthorne! A friend of mine and I created them for roleplay. They were the main characters and after many, many literal months, defeating villains, facing demons and saving eachothers asses, they got married.
