Cyberpunk is a game almost a decade in the making, with Witcher developer CD Projekt Red creating 2077 on RedEngine 4 as the video game debut for the original tabletop board game. The main franchise centres around an alternative universe to ours, where the Soviet Union & Japan become superpowers to contend with America through the 21st century, cybernetics also become essential for everyday life in the games setting of Night City, a free metropolis located just south of San Francisco.

We play as the main character only known as V, who begins as one of three different social backgrounds. While previously in Atlanta for a better life, V returns to Night City in 2077 and meets Jackie Welles, who joins the protagonist in the dream of making it to the big leagues. Teaming up as Mercs, they do many jobs for the city's fixers, working up to a high level heist at Konpeki Plaza. This big time job ends with a bombshell and changes V's stakes for the rest of the game.

Here on the channel I'll be covering all of the main content for Cyberpunk 2077!
