Love & Light 2023… for the culture 🙏🏽 It was a privilege to host a community filled with people who exude love and light. Because we need that more than ever.
There are so many talented people who help bring my vision to life.
First off, my event planner @socaleventplanners is one of my fav people. She never judges my obsession with details. And I love her because literally 10 hours after this year's party, she messaged me saying, “I have some more ideas for next year.” A legend.
This year's theme was Dreamscape and I wanted my guests to feel like they were literally in a dream. 2Create Designs not only made that happen, but also created an epic photo opp, all vendor displays and mapped out the entire space. Those clouds were HAND-MADE y’all.
One of the most common texts I get is, “I don’t remember the last time I danced that much,” and that’s because of my DJs, 3D Sounds. I say the party goes until 3-4am and they say… “let’s go!” My kind of people.
Good music is one thing, but being able to dance is another. My biggest annoyance is going to a party and having my feet hurt. Shout outs to APL who gifted every guest a pair of complimentary slides so they could get down on the dance floor.
I could make a reel of just food shots, because Sumit Sharma at Mantra Indian Cuisine makes plates THAT beautiful, that also taste delicious. Thank you for being reliable for 3 years in a row now.
Y’all see that beautiful cake? That’s just how Something Meetha rolls. At the end of the party, there wasn’t a SINGLE dessert left because people devoured them.
Capturing this party is really important to me. I will rewatch this video and look at the pictures anytime I need a pick-me-up. Thank you to @julioparedesfilms and @AlanVillasenor for your brilliant camera work.
Hosting events is my #1 love language and tbh, I do it a lot. I can say with full confidence that I co-sign every single one of these people. Thank you for helping me put on for the culture. And now… we plan next year ✨
