Ever fell in love with a fictional character from anime or any other mediums but then you realize that you're living in the real world and forever can't reach him / her? Then this song is something to relate to. It tells a story about a guy who fell in love with a fictional girl, currently separated by the screen. They're so close yet so far away. If he could have one wish in his lifetime, he would wish that he could reach her and live together in the same world, but in the end he realized that he couldn't break reality. In the end, he's simply said "I'm so glad that I met you". This ultra-relatable and heartbreaking song was written by Marasy himself featuring Hatsune Miku for the vocals. I hope I can get those feelings across through this video. I feel like crying as I'm writing this.
This arrangement is heavily based on Marasy's piano version of the song, the version featuring Hanatan as the vocalist, and my own style mixed together. This is easily one of the most underrated songs I've known.

A Cruel Angels Thesis (残酷な天使のテーゼ, Zankoku na Tenshi no Tēze in Japan) is the theme song of the classic anime Neon Genesis Evangelion performed by Youko Takahashi. It is used as the opening to the series, and two instrumental versions of it are played in the finale episode, Take care of yourself. These are The Heady Feeling of Freedom and Good, or Dont Be, scored for violin, piano, and guitar. The Heady Feeling of Freedom is a somber and reflective piece for bowed strings and guitar, while Good, or Dont Be is played to a light piano and guitar tone. A similar version can also be heard during the intermission between the two parts of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth.
The single was released on October 25, 1995 released with the part number KIDA-116 and it also reached a peak rank 17 in the Oricon album database, appearing in the ranks 61 times.
This Synthesia tutorial is based on my 2018 arrangement. A Cruel Angels Thesis is probably the most memefied anime song as well as an all-time classic. All these years and were still telling Shinji to get in the f***ing robot.

Welcome to the first video of Grand Piano Edition Cover (yes, more are coming, and will be uploaded at least 10 hours apart from each other). You have no idea how long Ive been waiting to film this, and how excited I am to finally be able to share with you. The Grand Piano Edition Cover is a series containing special videos filmed and recorded at ArtSound Studio Jakarta. Theyre in charge of recording the raw audio, while I take part in video / cinematography and mixing. Being able to film with a grand piano is one of my life goals, and it came true on June 11th 2017. Im planning to make a video of the story behind why I decided to go all out and book a studio. Theres so much to talk about that writing in the description simply doesnt justify it, Ill explain everything in that video. This is also my very first time filming anything in ANY music studio.
Tell Your World was composed by kz for Google Chrome commercial. He wrote the song to express the happiness and excitement he gets when using the internet, and it looks like he more than succeeded that. This song is surprisingly really beautiful and inspiring when played on the piano.
This is a modified version of Marasys arrangement. I knew this song from his cover, and I actually like his cover a bit more than the original song. His arrangement keeps the atmosphere of the song and adds so much more to it, its unbelievably beautiful.

The piano is my aunt and uncles, its an England-made antique 109 cm upright. It only has two pedals (soft and sustain), so my guess is that its made before the three-pedal standard, which means its built before 1930s.

About the cover:
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni brought me deep into the horror / mystery / thriller genre, and remains my most favorite of those genres to date. The way that the show presents itself is epic, its so brutal yet so fragile, and I feel like this song perfectly sums up the fragility in the series. This song has this feeling of really missing someone, the feeling of living a heartbroken life and keeps going.
This is my first YouTube cover done semi-outdoors! The sun is the best source of lighting there is, with perfect color rendering index. The view out my balcony somewhat reminds me of Hinamizawa Village.
I wanted to do a more polished arrangement before making the sheet music as this song is one of my highest priorities, which means theyre coming really soon so stay tuned!

Kawaranai Mono is an insert song in the anime film by Madhouse, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo). The song was written, composed, and performed by Hanako Oku.
About the film and cover:
10 years prior to the time travel madness in Your Name., theres The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. A story about a girl who discovered the power to time-leap, to literally leap through time, not knowing that her actions can adversely affect others. Its one of the all-time anime movie classic animated by Madhouse and based on a novel with the same title. I cant say much other than watch the anime yourself if you havent, I guarantee that its worth your time. You will find this song near the very end. You can say that its the Ichiban no Takaramono of the film.
Its been a couple years since I watched the film, and just quite recently remembered this song after a friend of mine played it while we were working on university projects. This song is beautiful, very powerful, yet very delicate at the same time, meaning its took some time to figure out how to properly deliver it through piano, which otherwise would sound harsh. This is considerably harder to arrange and perform than my prior cover, Gravity from A Certain Magical Index III. The song also has incredibly beautiful and (to me) very relatable lyrics.
The sound used in this piano is listed as Brilliant Grand on the RD-800 and is sampled from Roland V-Pianos Vintage piano 1.
