Happy Valentines Day

I’ve been asking myself a question lately…
I’ve been asking myself what love is?
It starts with an innocent look, a hello, a bump in the street…
And before you know It you’re swept off your feet…
So is it a whirlwind? A hurricane?
Does it rip through you uncontrollably?
Or is it something more?
Is it the moments where it would be so easy to give up on each other
But some intangible force, like a magnet, refuses to let us break.
Is it in every emotion, both good and bad,
the joy and the pain.
Is it the days you stood by me when I was at my lowest,
and you looked at me with those eyes broken by unrelenting care…
and told me…
I’d be ok. And for inexplicable reason, I knew it would be,

So when I ask myself that question I know one simple thing that is true.
I know that love is you.
