Kneesocks wanted our round to be flash-themed and I saw that as an opportunity to make use of my interest in late 90s/early 00s/pre-9/11 newgrounds animations, as well as queer duck and paper rad’s “trash talkin”. I think once me and nm41 do a match I may incorporate everything here in my serve as I know he’s someone who’s into ancient newgrounds type stuff too
Something I find exciting is I’m playing fiv95 and his boyfriend Fozp1444, who is a tennis newcomer. Fozp seems like a cool person and him and gubs seem like a cute couple…I recognize fozp seems to be scared entering the community for the first time so I definitely tried to go easy with my contributions here and keep him in mind, incorporating common interests into this round…I think him playing our team actually makes for a pretty cozy introduction to tennis, I think we’ll have good chemistry, especially since me and my teammate snorp are best friends and have a semi-romantic thing going on, which makes for a rly cute “couples tennis” of sorts with fiv and fozp
