“Love bombing” an experimental piece
Angel isolated Mimi from her friends and family. Making her dependent on them. Even going out of their way to damage her relationship with others to turn them against Mimi. Mimi craves to be validated by Angel, wanting to be told she is loved. Angel stole her self worth, her sense of identity. She was made to believe that she was a horrible person who would always burden and hurt those she loves.
Angel tells her “No one will ever love you the way I do. Even if you hurt me, I will forgive you”
This is from the perspective of Angel and the way they view their relationship. How sweet and lovely it can be, only for Angels obsession to come through. And the cycle of the pattern of Mimi begging for Angels love, but once it is given it is scary and abus1v3.
I want to be clear so people don’t get the wrong idea, Angel has no sexual attraction towards Mimi. There is nothing sexual between them. The reason behind their obsession with Mimi, and the reason Mimi craves for Angels attention specifically will be showcased in the comic.
