Sick Of It All have announced the death of founding vocalist Lou Koller at 59, two years after he revealed doctors had found a cancerous tumor in his esophagus. The band shared the news on Instagram, calling him "a beloved friend and an iconic frontman," and confirmed his battle is over. 2026 would have been the band's 40th anniversary.

Lou Koller formed Sick Of It All in Queens in 1986 with his brother, guitarist Pete Koller, and drummer Armand Majidi. Across 12 albums and nearly four decades of near-constant touring, he became one of the defining voices of New York hardcore.
