"Lotus Blossom" by Billy Strayhorn. One of Billy's most beautiful compositions played by many of the greats including Duke Ellington. In addition to Duke's version, another one of my favorite versions is from pianist Fred Hersch recorded on his 1996 album "Passion Flower". I took Fred's version and wrote up a lead sheet. The original is in Bb and Fred plays it in Ab.
