The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) is one of the best Middle-earth games and adaptations out there, but its recent expansions have… really gone quite far away from Frodo’s journey in the books. While it has certainly veered away from that in the past, offering players a new and differing experience from the books, its greatest strength has always been the fact that it is… the Lord of the Rings.
