swamped is an eight track album of remastered old remixes i made under the name ‘electricmudkip'. there’s mostly pokémon tracks but other games are featured too. had fun revisiting these old songs and i hope u guys like what i did with them :)
so i’m gonna upload a track from this every few days until i run out (there’s eight in total), was gonna do one a week but like yo that’d take two months lmao. i’ll probably release new remixes in between uploads of this too, to spice things up
this is the sixth track, of lost woods from ocarina of time. and well it’s probably the most not-remaster-but-actually-a-new-remix track on the whole album. i mean it is based off an old remix i made a million years ago, and there’s similar synths & the structure is the same, but it’s a pretty different energy. the focus is a lot more on the bass & percussion, before those things were kind of understated (and the patterns have been changed too). neat. NEAT. i don’t know why i bothered to remaster lost woods to only change it so much for swamped tbh but i think the final result is pretty cool. maybe the flute lead could be tweaked a little in retrospect tho. rip. i should do more zelda stuff on the regular zelda is a nice wholesome friend
