Welcome to The Banbury and Cheltenham Direct Railway. In building this line as a direct rail link between Banbury and Cheltenham three tunnels where needed. These included: Hook Norton Tunnel, Chipping Norton Tunnel and Sandywell Park tunnel. We try and visit each tunnel and discuss their history.
