At the time, I was performing in a Sailor Moon cosplay group at Japanese festivals, Mitsuwa, and events across Los Angeles—bringing anime music to life before it was mainstream in the U.S.
This was before my professional debut with NBC Universal Entertainment Japan and before there was a space for American J-pop artists like me.
Later on, I was approached to become a character for TinierMe and became the first American music artist to release an original song with Hatsune Miku.
Looking back… this feels like the beginning of everything 🎀
