This ones is the first track I wrote for this EP. Ive had this track in the works for a long time (since July 2022!). At first, it was a slow lo-fi track, but I never was really satisfied with the overall sound. Then, when I had the idea for the sound of this EP, I completely transformed it into something else.
I Live to Carry These Echoes Within Me - 03:31
The title comes from the track 1553470665499594756, that I really enjoy. In the song cover there is this sentence that really sticks with me. Breakcore tracks like this were a big inspiration when I was doing this EP.
The Meaning of Beauty - 07:07
Maybe its my favourite track of the EP. I really like the melody, especially the violin part. Maybe if you look at the title of this track youd expect a softer tone, but I wanted to focus more on the dilemma. What is beauty? To me, it sounds like difficult concept, isnt it?
OBSESSION - 09:36
You may recognize the melody from my Pokémon S/V Gym Battle remix. Well, I made that melody in 2021 for an original track that I never released. I wanted to use it again for this original composition, since I liked it a lot.
Is It Peace or Solitude? - 11:42
I wanted to finish the EP with a distorted track like this, in order to leave a strong impact on the listener. Peace and solitude are similar but extremely different concepts. I wanted to represent this contrast with the calm melody contrasting the distorted percussion and pads.")
