There is great news from Fort Mutzig, it just got better as their anniversary rolled around
a reminder of the amazing fort is that here an untold number of innovations now standard in modern forts and bunkers, all came from Fort de Mutzig, The German built fortress became the largest in the world by the turn of the century. Born out of the French/Prussian war it is an amazing place.
So many worlds firsts were tried and perfected here, from its trial and errors sprung the Maginot line, the Atlantic Wall and Ostwall, It all started here. And after 40 years of careful restoration it is amazing to see.
