Discovered by David Geffen in the early 1970s, Judee Sill combined the electricity (and self-destructiveness) of Janis Joplin, soulful poetry of Leonard Cohen, and lack of public recognition for her brilliant work before her death at the age of 35. Sill’s legacy is revived as she is recognized by numerous contemporary artists for her original and compelling visions.
