Losing the Person You Love. During the months of April and May I was going through a ton of change. New beginnings and personal loses. The biggest lose being my Granny, my homie, my G. This really took me by surprise as I just visited her the week prior and she was quick witted, still working and still climbing those stairs to her 2nd floor walk up. I was so caught off guard and completely unaware of how much work goes into planning a funeral and making arrangements. How to grieve over a loved one, how to deal with death, what to do when someone you love dies, all questions I had to face and find answers to, which I'm not sure I have.
