HOW DO YOU KEEP RIDING AFTER LOSING YOUR REAL BROTHER? 🏍️🕊️
For me, that question hits different.
I’ve spent years in this motorcyclist life. I’ve experienced the freedom, loyalty, good times, bad times, long highways, and memories that only somebody who has lived this life can truly understand.
But nothing prepares you for losing your REAL BROTHER.
When I lost Tiny, the road changed.
There are certain rides where I still expect him to be there. Certain memories that can make me smile one minute and hurt like hell the next. You realize that motorcycles can carry you thousands of miles—but there are some things you can never outrun.
Then something happened I never expected…
MY YOUNGER BROTHER STARTED RIDING.
Now when I see my Lil Brother on his motorcycle, there’s pride—but there’s fear too.
Because I know what this life can give you, and I know what it can take away.
I could tell him not to ride. I could try to protect him from every mistake I made and every painful road I traveled.
But that wouldn’t be living.
Instead, I’m going to do something I wish I had more time to do with Tiny…
RIDE WITH MY BROTHER.
Make memories.
Take pictures.
Laugh at gas stops.
Hit roads we’ve never traveled.
And appreciate every damn mile we get together.
Because losing Tiny taught me one of the hardest lessons of my life:
YOU ALWAYS THINK THERE'S ANOTHER RIDE… UNTIL THERE ISN'T.
So this chapter isn't about replacing my brother. Nobody could EVER replace Tiny.
This is about honoring him by continuing to live.
Every time my Lil Brother and I fire those motorcycles up, part of Tiny rides with us.
Yesterday gave me memories.
Today gives me another chance to make them.
And tomorrow isn't promised.
