Last week, we had to say goodbye to our dog, Corny, after 13 and a half years together.

I didn’t realize how specific this kind of grief would feel… especially while also being a mom, getting sick, and trying to keep life moving when your heart is absolutely not ready.

This video is me trying to process that. The loss, the weird “club” of people who understand pet grief, and what it feels like to keep showing up for your kid while quietly falling apart a little.
