Soorya Foundation for performing arts, a pioneer in the Indian performing arts arena of South California, presents the 6th edition of LOS ANGELES INDIAN DANCE FESTIVAL featuring renowned and award winning Indian Classical Performers. Guru VIJI PRAKASH of Shakti School of will be honored for her lifetime achievement.

Soorya foundation for Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization founded in Los Angeles under the able guidance of award winning Bharathanatyam dancer, choreographer, musician, Guru Sushma Mohan. This foundation aims to preserve, protect, and promote Indian Traditional Performing Arts through dance and music festivals, performances, dance productions, lecture-demonstrations and master classes by renowned gurus and performers in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The foundation works in Los Angeles and Atlanta and its activities are supported by California Arts Council, Georgia Council for the arts, National Endowment for the arts, Department of Cultural Affairs City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County department arts and culture and the Forsyth County Arts Alliance GA.
