Summer may not be over yet, but high school football is already getting underway. Cass Technical High School will take on Michigan City, Indiana, at 7 p.m. Friday at Wayne State University as the first high school football game of the week featured by “State Champs! Gametime Live.” The matchup marks the start of another busy season of high school football across the region. With kickoff less than three hours away, football fans are preparing for the matchup between Cass Tech and Michigan City. Lorne Plante, executive producer and host of the State Champs! Sports Network, will join the broadcast to preview the game and break down what to watch for when the teams take the field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Wayne State University.
