Lori joined our group and has become a regular member in the last few weeks as she looked forward to knitting her first Phrancko Sweater. The thumbnail shows the front displaying the beautiful Norah Gaughan cable which she has incorporated into the pattern. I love how knitters use the Phrancko Sweater as a blank canvas to enhance with their own designs. Of course the pattern also works as a simple plain Stockinette sweater. Lori calculated the "Stockinette stitch equivalency" of her cable and found she needed to increase 10 sts above the cable when it started, preventing the unsightly gathering of fabric and the tightening of the circumference that would occur otherwise.
