The Bronze Age was a dynamic period in European prehistory. However, it was highly reliant on key ingredients and technologies which allowed for the creation of the metal for which it is named. Recent archaeological discoveries and detailed research has revealed the key position that Britain played in Bronze Age trade which reached from the shores of Cornwall to the Mycenaeans, Hittites, Assyrians and ancient Egyptians.
