Game of Thrones is wrapped up, we take a look at its obvious essential influence, Lord of the Rings, and how it decided to best subvert the ideas Tolkien created. Let us know what you think in the comment section below!

Backstory:
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss challenges the audience as to how they feel with tropes. One noticeable difference is between good and bas characters as far as wardrobes. In Lord of the Rings, good characters wear white and light colors while in Game of Thrones it's the opposite. The ending takes a different approach. In Lord of the Rings, everyone unites to fight a common enemy and gains peace after. In Game of the Thrones, the Night King is defeated, but issues still remain after. There are many differences between the two popular shows, but you can see how one influenced the other.
