This week I picked up a Lord of Plagues on ebay for $15 shipped. Not a bad price and the model is in pretty good condition! The idea behind this episode is to challenge myself to create better OSL effects. I ended up painting this model two times over the course of filming. The idea was to try to paint a realistic osl just using the skills I already had, which to be honest, were limited. Then take to watching some videos and reading articles on the effect. after putting in effort into learning a few things I started over. Even though I know I didn't 100% nail this, I know I improved the overall product on the second attempt.
