Welcome to the Blindfold Art Challenge Series (yep!)!!
In this video, I paint a full watercolor floral piece… completely blindfolded.
Yep—no peeking! It helps that I have my whole palette memorized...but this was a CHALLENGE. This exercise is one of my favorite exercises for loosening up, trusting your instincts, and breaking free from perfectionism.
If you struggle with overthinking your paintings or want to develop a more expressive watercolor style, this is an incredibly helpful practice. Watch the process, see how it turns out, and try it with me—it might surprise you how much your intuition already knows.
