Extreme Demon comeback?
If you didn’t know, I’ve been playing this on and off for over a year, and man it feels great to finally finish it off. It’s also a new 3rd hardest for me, it didn’t take too long coming back to it, but I kinda expected that.
About the level, I like it, but I wish I liked it more. The first half had some really inconsistent parts which brought down my experience, mainly the 2nd and 3rd parts. I have a suspicion that 2.2 messed up some of the orb timings, so that might’ve been a factor, but still, those parts I wasn’t a huge fan of.
The drop is incredible, I absolutely love it. I really wish the rest was as enjoyable for me. Even though the gameplay has flaws, everything else makes up for it. I adore the deco and idea of this level. It looks awesome, and is very chill, which made it so I wouldn’t really get nervous on this level.
Overall, this level has missed potential in my opinion, however, there are still many things I love about it, and I would still say it’s a must play if you’re a memory enthusiast like me.
I’m planning on completing my unfinished extremes soon, as well as some others. I finally have some motivation to play extremes again, so I will probably work on those. I have my eye on Twilight Spire, but we’ll see what happens.
