I spent the good majority of my childhood in fabric stores like Vogue, Hancock, and Minnesota so I don't like spending a long time in them now. However, I can spend all day in a thrift store. Does it make sense...NO. But I do still love all the textures and colors of fabric and appreciate a great resource. The staff was nice and helpful and I want them to be able to stick around for a long time.
After that last fabric giveaway by a local active wear manufacturer, a lot of you messaged me asking if I knew of any more local fabric stores since High Fashion Fabrics just closed this year. Well I was out and about and searched the nearest Joann Fabrics on my maps and this fabric store popped up. I decided to stop in and check it out just for you guys. 😉
This is Universal Fabric Center and they do sell products online as well. They seemed to have pretty much everything so definitely check them out."
