This is an awesome level, seriously underrated. It has a very unique and original atmosphere, having a lot of variety between parts. The first part could use some blending, as some glow pieces don’t look fitting, but honestly, the art in the background is very good and even though it’s dark and feels like night, you can see very well and it’s marked nicely. I can see some inspiration from alderite here (at least I think so lol) with the yellow dots showing where to go and a few other minor details. The second part has a nice city background (in the sky?) with the sun rising over the clouds and behind buildings. There are two block designs in this part, but the wooden one feels off in color and doesn’t fit with the city theme and I feel like he should have stuck with the other blocks (same with the cave part). The third part features some nice art and has an intense atmosphere to it, and has some nice bock designs as well. I don’t love the oversaturated sun rays and feel like they could be less bright. The transition into the cave is a bit wierd, as you can see the background start to move after you first see it. The glowy spikes on the ground, again could have less saturation but overall the rest of the part is clean and well done. The next part is one of the best parts in the level, featuring clean designs, though the transition could be fixed (sudden small timing after transition). The space part is amazing, with awesome planet art in the background, the only thing I would fix is the gameplay and sightreadability.
The gameplay is pretty fun, the ship was probably the best to play, though the other parts weren’t bad. Most parts are very well marked and easy to learn. The space part, as said above though, is not the greatest.
Overall score: 9/10 very good and original level, though it could be cleaned up a bit.
