June is finally OVER. I'd say I'm sure July will be better, but we'll see...
SO, June. It started off alright... We technically got our carpet in the basement put in on the 2nd I think, and we finished painting the basement during that first week too. It's still a mess down there though because we have all of my grandma's sewing things boxed up, along with just a bunch of stuff we'd had in the room down there that just goes in storage, which we don't really have a place for (old papers, baby clothes of mine and my brothers that my mom wants to keep, some old toys like my American Girl Dolls and legos, beanie babies, ect).
Rosie had a vet appointment, I had chiropractor and message therapy, ect... Normal stuff for the most part. Then my mom went to the doctor and basically found out she had a tumor/cyst and yeah. It all went downhill starting then (which was mid-June). She just had surgery yesterday on the 1st and thankfully it was not cancer. She's still in the hospital and because of COVID19, I can't go see her... She's only allowed one guest and it's my dad since he needed to be there for the surgery in case they needed him for something and he also has to be there to take her home. She's staying overnight but will be home later today!
Overall that turned out okay. It was stressful though because she had to get all these different tests and blood tests and stuff done before they could do the surgery.
On the 22nd, I had the mediation for my car accident. I'm not gonna say much about that because we're waiting to make sure it goes through, but honestly I didn't get enough. It will cover the lawyer, the medical stuff we've already paid for, and then I'll be lucky if the rest covers a year of chiropractic care which I'll be doing my entire life so. That's fun. *sarcasm*
My mom and I got cheesecake afterwards though. We probably shouldn't have since we're doing keto right now, but it was worth it. X'D
So moving on, the 25th... Probably ranks top 10 worst days of my life so far (A day in April 2013 (I think the 23rd), when Sebastian died on November 11th, 2017, my car accident on February 6th, 2018 are also all up there with worst days). Anyway, we had to take my dog, Rosie, to be put to sleep. She just wasn't doing well... She's been having heart problems and starting back in March she started having seizures, along with other health problems. She was 13 years old. My mom and I got Olive Garden afterwards (wasn't really hungry, but we also got Olive Garden after I lost Pumpkin so I guess it's a tradition now... though after Sebastian I went to Panda Express with my brothers and sister-in-law.)
Also on the 25th, my great uncle died. He's my grandpa's brother on my mom's side. Honestly I only recall meeting him like three times, once at my grandparent's 50th anniversary party, but it hasn't even been a year since my grandma died and now my grandpa's brother is gone too. T^T
...So yeah, that was basically June. The 28th was three of our kitties birthdays too! Georgia, Bandit, and Scarlet. They're now eight years old since we got them in 2012........ Which this just circles back to more though because Wendy, a friend of ours, gave them to us and she died last November. There's a whole story about what happened, but I don't think it's something I should post online... It kind of makes me hate people though and lowkey lost some faith in humanity.
So like. This month is just asjkdhfkjsdhf
I'm glad it's over. There were ups and downs for sure.
As far as editing though, I guess I was busy. I joined Canon Renaissance's Secret Santa in July, edited with Haikyuu for Shelly's birthday, and also got the father's day MEP done along with Salute for MiraculousLovePairings... I joined a lot of father's day projects this year. It was great. Then after that my editing kinda just went downhill from there... X'D
This month seems to be the film overlay transition month. I used it in 8/15 parts, so over half of them... And at the end I was trying to avoid using it. X'D
(My favorite parts are Don't Give Up On Me, Nae Sarang, Turning Out, and my second part for Empty Space. Everything else..... asdkjfh)
