Lancaster City council voted unanimously to approve Randell Zook as the next Chief of Lancaster Bureau of Police. The decision comes two months after he was appointed as acting chief following the sudden departure of Chief Easton McDonald.

“I have no doubt that Randall Zook is the right person for the job,” Mayor Jaime Arroyo said to council during Tuesday’s meeting.
