This is the longplay of Aero Fighters game, shoot em up style spaceship game with vertical scroll. It was originally released under the name Sonic Wings for arcades in 1992, and in 1993 for the Super Famicom. In 1994 the game was released for the Super Nintendo in the United States, where it received the title Aero Fighters.
In this game we control an airplane pilot who, with a military spaceship, has the challenge of destroying enemy bases. Detonate all the ships and attacks that are against you, get new weapons and shots and conquer large territories. The game has four countries to choose from and each of them has two planes (one for the first player and one for the second player) and each machine has different shots and special powers, from dropping bombs that hit all enemies, laser beam to using a power to paralyze enemies for a while.
The game allows you to choose which character to play, being able to select between 4 countries; each one with its respective representative and its types of shots and powers. A player can only choose one fighter from the respective side. In a 2-player game, the player who starts the game determines the nation available to both fighters, until the game ends. These are the following countries: United States of America (Blaster Keaton with the F/A-18 Hornet and Keith Bishop with the F-14 Tomcat), Japan (Hien with the FSX and Mao with the F-15 Eagle), Sweden ( Kohful The Viking with the AJ-37 and Tee-Bee with the JAS 39 Gripen) and UK (Lord River N. White with Tornado IDS) and Villiam Syd Pride with the AV-8 Harrier II), plus the secret characters Rabio and Lepus (which are not represented by any country).
Its a very good game, a true classic, which many played the Japanese version the most, as it was placed in parallel cartridges, while the American version many only knew by emulator. The game is very good, but unfortunately it doesnt have a rapid fire button (luckily I could use this function in the emulator).
The American version was released in limited quantities and is one of the rare Super NES cartridges to be found. The endings playing in 2 players are different.

This is a longplay of the Mega Man IV game, action and platform game, also known as Rockman World 4. This game was released for Game Boy in 1993 in all regions: in Japan it was released in October and in the United States and Europe , the game was released in December.
Mega Man continues to fight his archenemy, Dr Wily. On a seemingly peaceful day in a large city, Wily appears in the sky in his flying saucer and sends out a radio transmission that causes all the robots at the annual Robot Master Exposition to go on a rampage. He then sends eight new rebuilt robots of his own to different parts of the city to lead the destruction.
In addition to the Robot Masters, Mega Man meets Ballade, a robot that was developed to destroy our hero.
As with the previous Game Boy entries, the Robot Masters are taken from two different NES titles, with the first four taken from Mega Man 4, while the latter four come from Mega Man 5.
Mega Man IV was a game well received by the public and critics. Although it does not innovate much, the game made great use of the Game Boy hardware. The stages are relatively extensive, but in my view, in the right measure. It is a very good game.

This is the longplay of Rollergames, a game that was released for Arcade and NES. While the Arcade version is a sports game, the NES version is an action, sports and beatn up game released for the NES in 1990. This game is based on the television series of the same name, which aired between 1989 and 1990. The NES version is a side-scrolling platform game that employs the likenesses of people used in the television show, but has nothing to do with the sport itself.
The game begins with announcers Chuck Underwood and David Sams commenting about the commissioner (Griffiths) being taken hostage by the three rough teams, and he can only be rescued by the Western Alliance (T-Birds, Hot Flash and Rockers). The game then has Shelley Jamison (who serves as a reporter on the series) asking the player which of the three teams they would wish to join; T-Birds: Robert Smith (the Icebox), Hot Flash: Vicki McEuen (the Sly Fox) and Rockers: Mike Flannigan (the California Kid). The player can choose a different team for each stage. Once the choice is made, the stage begins.
The difference between this game and the vast majority of beatn ups is that in this game we control skaters. The characters can punch and kick, as well as being able to use a special attack (limited to 3 per stage). The stages vary between stages with fights and stages where you have to dodge obstacles. Its a good game, based on a very different series. The video was made playing with all the characters. Hope you like it.")

This is the longplay of Shank, a 2D side-scrolling hack and slash video game developed by Canadian independent studio Klei Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. That game was released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2010 and for MAC and Linux in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
Shanks story is told in two parts: a single-player campaign and a co-op campaign designed to be played locally, which serves as a prelude to the first. Shank was a member of a group of mercenaries that dominated the region, this group known as The Family. However, Shank was betrayed by his allies, who kidnapped his girlfriend Eva. Taken by the feeling of revenge, Shank goes out exterminating everyone who tries to disturb his journey and will spare no effort to save Eva.
The multiplayer allows players to play as Shank and his partner-in-crime named Falcone. In this mode players are often required to work as a team to accomplish objectives, such as defeating level bosses. Players can combine moves for special attacks with the characters performing together. Also available is the ability to revive a fallen teammate should they die in combat.
The game features three main types of weaponry: a pair of knives, heavy melee weapons (the starting one is a chainsaw) and firearms (the starting one is a pair of pistols). In addition to the main weapons, there are also drink bottles (which heal wounds) and grenades, which are very useful for shooting larger enemies.
The player needs to exterminate all the enemies and advance through the game. The graphics style is completely cartoonish, somewhat reminiscent of the art style of Genndy Tartakovsky (creator of cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack), but full of blood, deaths and a lot of violence, in the Quentin Tarantino style. Even though its a very frantic game, a good dose of strategy is needed to overcome the challenges, knowing how to attack, defend and block attacks at the right time and against the right enemies is crucial to eliminate enemies. Bosses also each have a unique way of defeating them. Its an essential game to play with a controller. Without a doubt, a great indie game.

This is the longplay of the game Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Trouble in Wackyland, the platform game for the NES, produced and distributed by Konami, released in 1992 in Japan, in 1993 in the United States and in 1994 in Europe. It is the sequel to the first Tiny Toon Adventures video game on the NES.
The story is this: a new amusement park called Wackyland has opened in Acme Acres. On the day of the grand opening, the parks owner sends a letter to Buster Bunny, inviting him to the opening ceremony and telling him to bring his friends. Buster, happy to have read the letter, brings Babs, Plucky, Hamton J. Pig, and Furrball to join him. Little do they know, Montana Max is the owner of the park, who has filled it with tricks and traps to stop them.
Trouble in Wackyland is a game that takes place at an amusement park, and in order to win the game, the player must successfully complete the various rides and attractions.
Each ride requires a different amount of tickets to ride, and for the most part, can be played in any order the player chooses. The player starts out with ten normal tickets, but can get more by exchanging the various points they earn throughout the game at the ticket booth. Completing one of the first four stages will earn the player a golden ticket. Eventually, when enough tickets have been earned, they can be saved until the player has enough to afford the entrance fee to Montana Maxs fun house. Each of the parks different attractions is played with different characters, which shows a greater share of the Tiny Toon cast in this game than in its predecessor.
Each player has three hearts as their health bar. When they lose all their health, they will be sent back to the main menu and will have to try the ride again. The game ends when the player runs out of points and tickets.
Like the first one, Tiny Toon Adventures 2 is a good game, but it was relatively obscure because it was released in 1993, at the end of the NES cycle and with the Super Nintendo already available worldwide. Still, its really worth playing.

This is the longplay of Mutation Nation, action beat em up game developed, distributed and released by SNK in 1992. It was initially developed for the Neo Geo arcade platform and later ported to other systems, including the Neo Geo AES home console.
The games story takes place in the year 2050, where a mad scientist has been shut down by his superiors after performing bizarre biological experiments. However, shortly afterwards, his laboratory exploded and the scientist himself mysteriously disappeared. Now, several years later, there are new buildings on top of the forgotten slum where the experiments took place, and suddenly, a genetic virus has started to spread among the tenants, turning them into vicious mutants. Two young fighters from the local town, Ricky Jones and Johnny Hart, come back to town after being away for a long time and upon seeing the chaos that is going on, they take it upon themselves to clean up the town before the mutants spread across the country. Along the way, they discover not only the mutants, but also mechanically-engineered enemies that the mad scientist has created to stop them.
The game is a typical beat n up, with normal attacks against enemies. Instead of using weapons, the player has four types of magic spheres, which can be picked up by the player and used for special attacks. Each sphere is represented by a letter and a color that help the player to differentiate them, the powers are Light, Fire, Lighting and Wind, each with different characteristics. If players dont have orbs available, they can sacrifice part of their life gauge to unleash a flurry of attacks. Picking up the spheres gives the player powers and recharges some of the life bar. The game is relatively challenging as unfortunately it only gives one life per credit, but quite fun, especially playing 2 players with an emulator. The bosses are challenging, but can be beaten quite easily in multiplayer if both players attack the boss from opposite sides with normal attacks, while investing special attacks on hordes of common enemies. Its a great game from the golden era of beat n ups.

This games story originated in the Mutant Chronicles series, a tabletop RPG franchise set in a post-apocalyptic world, originally published in 1993. From this series, collectible card games, miniature war games, video games, novels, comic books and a film with the same title were created, based on the games world. The specific story of this game takes place in a period when humanity is doomed to extinction by the forces of the Dark Legion. The evil forces of Algeroth have emerged from their portals and established citadels throughout the solar system. Mega Corporations, desperate to maintain their power, have called upon the Doom Troopers, whose names are Mitch Hunter and Max Steiner, to cleanse the solar system of the Dark Legion threat. Their mission is to force Algeroth back through his portal, trapping him in Dark Symmetry. Mitch and Max will need a lot of firepower to save the universe from Algeroths hands.
In the game, we can choose between the characters Mitch or Max, with one using a machine gun and missiles, while the other uses dual pistols and a flamethrower. The games stages are representations of some planets in the Solar System. The games graphics are not the best, the level design is quite questionable in some parts and the characters seem to have no outlines or anything like that. The weapons have limited ammunition, but if it runs out, the character can stand still and wait a few seconds to gain 10 bullets, so they dont run out of ammunition. There are also items to reload the weapons (either scattered throughout the stages or dropped by enemies). This was a game that was seen in rental stores and many people believed it to be a game from the Doom series, although it has no relation to it. The game has a high level of violence. It is a game that was released in 1995, when 16-bit consoles were starting to lose strength to the PS1, with its 32-bit. This game was also released only in the United States.

This is the longplay of The Punisher, a beat em up game developed and distributed by Capcom. It was released worldwide for Arcades in 1993 and for Sega Genesis in 1994 in the US and 1995 in Europe.
It stars the Marvel Comics antihero the Punisher (Frank Castle) and co-stars S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury as the second players character as they embark on a mission to kill the crime lord the Kingpin and bring down his organization. Frank Castle had his entire family murdered and seeks revenge against the criminals who destroyed his family, using extremely brutal methods and never showing mercy.
The games action unfolds in stages with an urban setting, in the best style of the characters comic books. The whole dirty and cruel side of New York will serve as a backdrop as the player executes the bad guys with punches, kicks, grabs, melee weapons (knives, swords, hammers, spears and others), firearms (pistols and machine guns) and even explosives (like grenades, which are triggered by jumping and pressing the attack buttons and jumping simultaneously while the character is in the air).
It is without a doubt an excellent game, with very well-detailed graphics, a striking soundtrack and a wide variety of weapons and enemies. The games action is quite intense, in some parts the Punisher and Nick Fury characters fight bare-handed and in others they draw their firearms against enemies. It is also possible to use objects from the scenario, such as barrels, potted plants and even medieval armor to attack enemies. One of the best beat n up games ever made. The video was recorded in 2 players.

This is the longplay of Tom and Jerry, an action and plataform game developed by Riedel Software Productions and distributed by Hi-Tech Expressions and released in 1993 for Super Nintendo in US, Japan and Europe.
The game has almost no plot and the same is only told in the manual in a few sentences. The player controls Jerry the mouse, and must travel from a movie theater to his home, while trying to avoid being captured by Tom the cat. There are 12 stages, which are divided into four sets of three and each of these sets has its own theme. The objective of the game is to reach the end of each level, and at the end of the third it is necessary to face Tom.
The controls are simple: the B button is for jumping and the A, Y and X buttons are for shooting green marbles, which look like peas. The buttons shoot the marbles and projectiles in different directions (upwards or downwards). Enemies range from insects, toy robots and even sentient fruits and vegetables and the boss is always Tom the cat, changing only the way he appears in the stages. The jumps are not difficult to execute, however if it is necessary to jump higher a bit of luck and/or momentum is needed, as these same jumps are imprecise and difficult to execute consistently. Every 100 cheesebits collected gives an extra life and larger chees wedges restore health. The marbles always respawn in the same place, while the 1-UP item (which gives an extra life) is rare and only has two in the entire game. There is also a two-player mode, but it is nothing more than a single-player experience with alternate player moves. In two player mode, the second player plays as Tuffy, (apparently Jerrys nephew).
The game has few songs, one is the theme of the cartoon and the others are very generic songs, the game controls are far from bad, but they are not good either. Although it was released right after the Tom and Jerry movie in 1992, the game has nothing to do with the movie. Its just a basic, generic platform game, which unfortunately lacks the chases that Tom does on Jerry in the cartoon. The video was made by collecting all the cheesebits, cheese wedges and extra lives in the game (I tried to do this to give the video more variety).
