Every year, my level of amazement over what smartphones can do with photography reaches new levels. It feels like just a few years ago, we had to make so many comprises and sacrifices if we wanted to get a decent photo using our phones. Today, the flexibility and creative opportunities that smartphones offer are staggering.
That's why I'm really excited about this video. By using an app called Spectre (by the same folks who make the amazing Halide camera app), I'm able to realistically simulate a long exposure photo WITHOUT having to use a single ND filter! And when you combine that with the power of Adobe Photoshop, the results are positively amazing.
