2022's Lonely Castle In The Mirror might be the most underrated anime film I've seen.
Edit: I made a mistake towards the end of the video. I for some reason said Aki was all grown up 7 years after the events of the castle, but it's actually decades later. Out of all the kids at the castle, Aki's timeline was the oldest. I forgot to mention how during the part where Kokoro is viewing her friends' memories, it's revealed that Aki's older self was a teacher for the other kids as well.
