Robert Cowan | Logo Inlay Project (Part 5) - Final Finishing! @RobertCowanDIY | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 9 hours ago
I wanted a project that would combine woodworking, metalworking, CNC, and a few other skills. I decided to make a physical representation of my YouTube channel's logo out of aluminum and walnut as a way to not only learn some new skills, but also promote my channel a bit more. This project is less about the final result, and more about learning along the way! This project also shows just how much work goes into a project.

In part 5, I'm finishing this thing off! Sanding, sanding, some more sanding. I wanted to show you the process behind finishing both the wood and aluminum at the same time. I'm using Osmo 3043 for the final finish on the wood, and you can find some here:

Blacktail Studio videos helped me out quite a bit, go check out his channel for woodworking tips and tricks! This isn't affiliated in any way, just showing where I found my information from.
