Loft Cinema workers will see higher pay and better benefits under their contract with a local union for movie and theater workers.
The contract covers about 20 staff members, including floor workers and projectionists. It follows a union election held in May of last year and an organizing effort.
The agreement also guarantees paid breaks, set weekly hours and more sick and vacation time.
