Loda Bazzi, Ph.D., keeps production on track at Detroit Assembly Complex – Jefferson, leading engineering, maintenance supervision, and skilled trades teams responsible for maintaining more than 1,100 robots. She also drives the integration of AI technologies across the plant’s Body‑in‑White operations.

She joined Stellantis in 2015 as a controls engineer. Just three years later, she earned her doctorate in manufacturing engineering, all while working full‑time, building her career, and welcoming three children into the world.

Today, Loda focuses on improving consistency and standardization across maintenance operations, strengthening processes and supporting the teams that keep production moving. With encouragement from her manager and plant leadership, her journey reflects a workplace that invests in people who want to grow.
