Welcome to the WoW Classic Goldbound Challenge!
I’m bound to one zone until I reach a specific gold goal.
No buying from the Auction House — only selling is allowed.
All items must come from questing, looting, or gathering.
Once the gold threshold is reached, the next zone unlocks.

After finishing up in Auberdine, we finally set foot in Ashenvale — one of the most atmospheric zones in Classic WoW.
With a new gold goal of 125, it’s time to see what this forest really has to offer. From Kingsblood and Steelbloom to the elusive Large Venom Sacs, I explore every opportunity to build up some coin.

Between quests, fishing, and a few risky auction house listings, the gold starts to add up — though not always in the ways I expect.
The sudden price spike for Venom Sacs turns the spider population into an unexpected goldmine (for a while), while other ventures, like cookbooks, prove less reliable.

As we push further into the zone, it becomes clear that Ashenvale isn’t just about profit — it’s about patience.
By the end of the episode, we’ve reached the halfway mark toward our 150 gold goal and laid the foundation for the next phase of the challenge.
