Welcome back to my ongoing lockdown series where I take a number of hand held radios out in to a field to test them at roughly 1 mile distance from my base setup, the test is done so as to stretch the radios ability to communicate back to the base SDR by ensuring that the site located for the test is low down and there are significant hills in the way.

In this test we look at the Baofeng UV82, the Shiquin SQ800, the Wouxun KG-UVD1P, the Baofeng T1, the WLN KDC1 the Yaesu FT23R, the Olywiz and the TSSD.
