Hi! These are the main related sources I have, but Ive also talked to Korean people in the community to get their side of the story and to understand their opinions about the topic of feminism and learned the cultural implications of it.
For those curious, I shall be giving a detailed timeline of events according to my sources
July 21st to 23rd.
People on DCinside started to complain about the cost of uptie 4, which were shared unanimously among users as well as the stealth nerfs to a bunch of IDs
24th of July
Limbus company reveals the next update content that adresses all previous changes, but some members of the Korean imageboard began to something was wrong with the lack of traditional summer skins, basically bikini outfits. This was coupled with traditional male skins for Sinclair, which depicted him wearing no shirt and revealing his chest. This sparked suspicions on radical feminism. Initially they contacted Naiga, the ID illustrator but found out he wasnt behind it and that he was a man.
VERIFICATION PENDING: after this event one person on the imageboard dug up on the artist who got fired today and found out that they used to be a radical feminist.
After finding this out it was the straw that broke the camels back which caused the review-bombs of Limbus Company
25th of July.
The other parts of the fanbase started to reverse the review-bomb damage, but DCinside didnt give up and began to go after the CG artist and those who disagreed, including spamming the Limbus Company subreddit and Project Moon Community Discord. Later that day people went physically to PMs office to peacefully talk with the devs about their issues. They found out Ji Hoon wasnt there so it was a bit of waiting until both figured out who would be able to talk in his stead.
After a while discussions finally began and from sources Ive heard, it went very smoothly although awkwardly. And eventually the people left and this is when PM took the decision to fire the CG artist based on the controversy and the fact that they had broken company policy based on the (by now fake) doubling down tweets they made. Because according to contract employees arent allowed to post political messages that could negatively impact the company.
And that is the whole timeline so far.
Please share this video and raise awareness about it because a lot of people are taking advantage of the confusion and spreading misinformation! Even heard of 1 art director jumping the hate bandwagon with absolutely 0 context on the situation and parroting the missinformation!
And some final words from me. Please do not go about sending people threaths of harassing any of the individuals involved, that is plainly not cool at all. But please try to be forgiving towards PM, they didnt have many choices in this situation and Id hate to see this community fall apart because of this small mistake.

Honestly when I saw the name of the skill I knew i just had to make a video about it lol, it was too pefect not to do one on it. Also did ProjectMoon purposefully name the skill like that? I have a feeling they did, just a slight nudge.
Anyway what do you think of the 4.5 event? Honestly I absolutely love it! It hits all the right spots just perfectly and manages to find a great balance between comedy and serious moments. Besides, the grinding isnt as bad as it was in the 3.5 event lol.
