Itasca County's contract lobbyist Shane Zahrt of Flaherty & Hood delivered a Minnesota Legislative Session wrap-up to the County Board this week. The Legislature adjourned May 18th after a session that produced some notable wins for counties — and left some important local priorities unfinished.

Zahrt walks through what passed, what didn't, and what Itasca County will be focused on heading into the next session.
