Hello, and welcome back to another train trip report on my channel.

In this video I will be travelling on-board a LNER Class 801 'Azuma' from York to London King's Cross.

In recent years, almost the entire loco-hauled fleet on the East Coast Mainline has been replaced by modern Azuma units by LNER. These trains were promised to be a massive upgrade to the route, and a better passenger experience.

Unfortunately, I was left extremely disappointed, and felt that the ride was a sharp downgrade from the older trains and other contemporary high-speed trains around the world.
