On October 6, 2015 me and the world music ensemble that I perform in (under the direction of our teacher Dr. Paul Humphries) had the privilege of performing a Balinese Gamelan piece for the Inauguration of the 16th president of our University. It was a very prestigious ceremony. The piece we played is called Singha Nata and translates into english as "Chair of the Leader." The piece was written specifically for this particular ceremony by I Made Lasmawan, making this performance the world premier of the piece. I am not featured much in the video but I do have a reyong solo with the flute in the beginning. I hope you enjoy this performance.
